Wet Hire vs Dry Hire — What Is the Difference?
This is the most common question we get.
Wet hire means the bus, driver, and fuel are all included in your quote. You show up, your group boards, and you are not calculating fuel stops mid-trip. This is the recommended option for long-distance trips — Harare to Bulawayo, Harare to Mutare, or any route where fuel costs are difficult to predict in advance.
Dry hire means the bus and driver are included, but fuel is your responsibility. This works better for shorter, well-planned routes where you know the distance and can budget the fuel cost accurately.

How Much Does Bus Hire Cost in Zimbabwe?
Bus hire in Zimbabwe starts from $250 per day, driver included.
The final cost depends on:
- Route and distance — longer routes cost more, especially on wet hire where fuel is included
- Bus size — we have options from 48 to 72 seats
- Hire type — wet hire is priced higher because fuel is covered
- Date and availability — peak periods (school holidays, Easter, December) book up fast

How to Get a Quote
Three steps:
- WhatsApp us your details — send your travel dates, destination, and group size to +263 716 173 840
- Receive your quote — we send a quote with a verifiable QR code so you know it is legitimate
- Pay your deposit — 50% deposit locks in your bus. Balance is settled before departure.
